Likewise, for the height, measure just the glass pane and exclude any glazing bead for a proper fit. It’s essential that the length of the blind exactly matches the height of the glass to ensure optimal coverage.

How to Measure Your Window – Get the Perfect Fit

For best results, measure the width of your window’s glass pane and add 1–2 cm on each side to ensure complete light blockage around the edges once the blind is installed. Be careful not to add too much, as an overly wide blind might interfere with window handles or prevent smooth operation.

In the product customization section, you can also select an option to add an extra 5 mm for a more precise fit.

For example, if your window width is 50.6 cm, adding 5 mm will provide a snug fit without issues. If your window is 50.5 cm or less, choose a 50 cm width and select “0 mm” extra width.

When measuring height, measure from the top of the window frame to the bottom, including the glass pane and surrounding frame. This ensures the blind’s cords and profiles align perfectly with the mounting brackets for smooth operation.
